General Requirements:
Here the profile of the students we need. It is valid both for Master and PhD.
The applicant must have a background in one or more of the following fields: Physics, Mathematics, Material Science, Electrochemistry, Nanotechnology or Chemistry. He/she must have interests in numerical/theoretical work to address problems in the following topics: energy storage, solar energy and sensing. Specifically, the candidate will undergo studies in electromagnetism which will be integrated with topics from different branches of Physics, such as heat transfer, mass transfer and chemical reactions. The candidate will learn how to operate numerical solutions based of Finite Element Method and Molecular Dynamics. Finally, a positive attitude to collaborate with experimentalists is required. The language of the laboratory is English as periods spent abroad will be part of the training.
